Hi all,
Trying to use the default AutoInterface on macOS (Sequoia 15.7.4), I get a bunch of
errors like:
"AutoInterface[Default Interface] No multicast echoes received on en0. The networking
hardware or a firewall may be blocking multicast traffic."
If I disable the system firewall entirely, things work fine, but I'd rather not do that,
of course. Has anyone gotten this to work on macOS? I've tried adding python, rnsd etc
to the firewall whitelist, but no dice.
I apologize if this has been already asked! I searched around everywhere I could find of
and didn't find anything, but I'm still quite new to Reticulum.

Works fine on our MacBook Air, but we had to specify the device to use in interface
config. And haven't tried it with firewall enabled. This laptop never leaves the boat
anyway.

Thanks for the info! But unfortunately specifying a device didn't fix things - so long
as the firewall is enabled, AutoInterface doesn't work. I really ought to be able to get
it to work by adding the right executables to the firewall whitelist, but I think the
system firewall actually might be bugged, or maybe it always blocks multicast no matter
whether the application is whitelisted or not.
If it's not too much trouble, I'd be really interested to hear whether it continues to
work for you if you turn on the firewall.
